Mark Schwarzer the Australian Goal Keeper will visit Perth on June 23rd 08 to launch his new book, Scarfs and Sombreros. Football West and Football Australia will host Mark while he is here. Further details here.

Lynwood Senior High School is one of 6 soccer specialist schools in Western Australia. We run an academy from years 8-12 based on a development pathway that focuses on individual skills to more team orientated tactical awareness. We aim to develop players so that they have a good understanding of all aspects of the game. The program caters for both boys and girls and offers a range of activities such as: Participation in the schools cup, lightening carnivals, year round coaching during PE lessons and after school, Bi-annual trip to singapore, futsal competitions, camps, referee and coaching courses and a comprehensive SAQ program.
The program is run by Tony Campbell (Level C licence) who has coached at junior and senior level for the past 16 years including for Football West and Nicola Williams who is currently the womens NTC coach and in the process of completing her A-licence.
The trials for the 2009 year 8 intake are
